iPub - Robin Hood

IWow, I mean turbo wow.  I’ve just completely lost my control on one of these.  I’ve just put 7 hundred fucking quid through one.  Took me £300 to get a jackpot on the gamble.  Didn’t collect one single win above £5 for the following £500. Highest reel win, £17.  Highest feature £39.  Gave me Robin Hood feature for £30 once in that time.  Basically, I’ve just contributed to why theyre taking away analogues and replacing with this garbage.  Someone’s clearly been lining the pockets of the gambling commission for them to pas through this shite!!!

That's a result on those, could easily have lost more. Seriously don't worry about it, I did £800 through Reel King £100 on one of those, just vow to NEVER touch one again and look at it as losing £2 a day for the next year!

People (rightly) knock the bookies for being shit. But it's surely better to throw £700 into a £500 jackpot machine than a £100 one?

It's almost impossible to lose 3-400 quid in a pub reel based. It's far easier to lose 7-8 in one of those bent digital games (which I can only presume why they're taking over, or at least part of the reason). Savage loss but they can and will just take endless money and there's anything up to 7 of the cunts per venue these days.
Game over
They've tightened the pwofile on this, it hates the britzes dunnit?

I tilted a oner through a game called new York or something on those great big prismatic cabinets a few weeks ago, 3 wins in total biggest being 6 quid. Slightly open a brown sauce sachet and feed it into the note mech, and get out the door!

I'd love to orchestrate a mass attack with the aim of putting through the screen irreparably on every single one nationwide, or some other way to ensure they disappear. I'm guessing the new prismatics are the most expensive?

Fruit machines as an fun gamble is finished. Play a £100 in arcade easy do £800 without a feature. Play a £500 on £1 stake easily do £400 for a £30 feature. I got out a year ago had enough all it was donk, donk visit a cash machine donk, donk skinted. The wins are as rare as hens teeth and losses regularity as the sun rises.

Yes, this is of course assuming you are forcing a machine and you know forcing is possible and also it assumes you are not taking wins and recycling. Saw a guy stick in 200 in TIJ going in every deal, taking 25s gambling and getting 40 odd cps etc, yes this isnt 400+ but he was still on machine when i left. I suspect this is more common than u think. 3-4 years ago i shoved 800 in a big one for no jp, kept on getting 50 in box and u dont wanna know what i stuck in an Alien so these things are possible. I imagine theres people doing badly on reflexs

I watched a bloke only the other day win £100 from the Deal on Redial (God knows how much he had put in to achieve this), then sink all £100 and at least another £200 chasing the £100 from then Deal again so recycling wins until he was out of money and walked. He was even ignoring getting offered 100% streak (I assume £100?) in hope of something more. I didn’t even try for one board after he left.

Also saw a bloke do sort of the same on Jackpot Jaws. He must have spent £200-£300 taking every deal until it finally dealt him £100. Again, I didn’t even try a board afterwards.

Just shows how many people don’t understand the general concept that fruit machines will take 78% of your money so stick in £100 you’ll get £78, stick £78 and you’ll get 78/100 x £78 = £61, stick in £61 and you’ll get 78/100 x 61 = £48 etc all the way down to £0.

If you're gonna play them gamble on for all wins and just max out the pie every single time

But just don't play them!

Cops gold/robin hood has generally been fair to me, but ill try and limit my time on them and only stick to 50p.

Managed to claw a few iffy situations back and havent been totally balls deep yet, but I have a feeling these can do shitty runs for fun. 800 in is enough to put me off so ill stick to just the odd punt, just like with wish upon a jackpot, which can eat through a jackpot in no time if it fancies. Have yet to hit more than about 35 off the chase feature.

Gotta suspect the guy on the Redial and Jaws was actually you Tramp!

As for your explanation of "the general concept", are you related to Stephen Hawking?

@HoveSam. No, not Stephen Hawking. I see my fruit machines more like a cross between The Matrix and Russell Crowe in A Beautiful Mind.

Well, it was a painful lesson. One I’ll hopefully never have to endure again. The percentage is 86, so I expected to at least get lucky on the pie gamble once or twice. Every time I maxed a 50p it landed more often than when I pied a £4/5 win. Didn’t swap the gamble colour either kept it on red the whole time.. the amount of times it landed just past it in the black bit was disgustingly suspicious. To not even get one pot, and only one chase feature is horrible really.
Wish upon a jackpot I’ve learned 50p stake is probably best.. had some disgusting £500+ losses on a £1 a go on that too

Are these things random? On an 86% RTP? (!?!?!?!?)

Yes Chopley Degsworth, I’m guessing that is hideous? I remember in your online slots video on YouTube saying that anything below 95% is fucking shit

I consider anything under 95% RTP on a random game to be plain greedy, that's a house edge of 5% which is very generous.

Think about it this way:

96% RTP - 4% house edge
94% RTP - 6% house edge
92% RTP - 8% house edge
90% RTP - 10% house edge
88% RTP - 12% house edge
86% RTP - 14% house edge

96% is basically your standard RTP for random online slots, give or take. A house edge of 4%.

At 86% RTP you're giving away a house edge of 14%, which is a 350% increase in the house edge. Random games will fucking destroy you with that kind of house edge, it's the kind of game that no provider would even remotely dare to release into the online marketplace.

To give you an idea of how much RTP matters, here's the video of me beating an 'unbeatable' bonus at Tropica Casino back in the day. Even the veterans over at Casinomeister told me this bonus was unbeatable.

Don't forget stake/prize is a lot more limited in pubs vs online. Could be why they do it
