Football Bets :)

If Fulham & Liverpool both score tomorrow evening that will mean that all 10 Prem games were G-G !

Not forgetting that it has already occured once before this season...

350/1 for 10 games.

So if you had backed all 10 matches every game of the season - 38...you will be miles in profit :-\

Lads,

I am interested to know your thoughts on a football system...

I try and restrain myself and limit my bet to 3-4 teams max but through-out the season got greedy and added just the 1 or 2 more to increase the bet...

Lately however I have been sticking to 3 teams and punting £50 treble, now that may seem a little rich but I was usually punting £20 x 2 for 2 bets and including 4 - 5 teams in each bet, hoping that if one let me down id have the other to fall back on, so basically I was hoping for 9 teams to come up each week for 2 seperate bets to come in (wishful thinking)

My new strat involves 3 decent teams with sensible odds, little point doing 1-4 or 1-2 so I stick to 4-7, 1-1 or something that seems value for money.

Since this new system I have made good profilt, so my new strategy is to keep a spread sheet for the new season and see how i get on...

Spoke with another fella a few years back that swore on doing a Trixie, only problem was he done a £125 trixie that totalled £500 bet, he claimed to make serious money but I dont have the balls to try this out...

Well that bet was up!

So for instance if you had put £1 on each week your outlay would be £38 for the season and a return of £702.
So + £664.

not quite sure i get you, do you mean that all prem games scored last week?
my bookies (ladbrokes) reduce the amount of teams that are included in the prem, giving that they are highest calibre of teams they expect them to score each week

Bump for this i can safely say i finished last season up on football / rugby accumilators. I read alot into teams ie training / illnesses for the higher teams also i follow www.punterslounge.com forums. They have people that cover the more obscure football but go to the games ie scottish division 3 and german 2nd division and non league .When i say cover they go to the games and watch and have first hand news that isnt avalible to normal punters or bookies. Alot of these guys have paid services for players to subcribe to but they post most of the info the day of the game for free after all the better prices midweek are gone and to prove they know there shit. Personally i do either £6 or £12 a line and go for no more then 6 teams but usually 4. Consisiting of teams to win / draw no bet/ half time result and asian handicap for football and handicaps for rugby union. I pick 2 / 3 bankers that i stick throught my bets then mix them in with others ive picked. Will post up what ive chosen and keep a record of my win / loss and hopefully be able to share tips with others for more proffit

Good luck Keno

Some end of season madness from me:

Accum:
Man City, Leeds, Reading, Swansea,Chesterfield, Shrewsbury, Wycombe

GG:
West Ham, Leicester, QPR, Burnley, Notts C, Stevenage, Chesterfield.

Cheers
Jon

Nice one on your GG.

You should use betfred. Odds would have been massive there. I usually do 6 games and £5, that gives back £170.06. 7 games.......... £300+ I guess.

Just had a look on Betfred and looks like 7 games would pay 28/1 this season. Does that mean it looks like changed the way they giving odds compared last season? Never looked on Betfred previously as always used my hills account

Cheers

That's shocking, they used to give 33/1 for 6

Basically it was 4/5 per pick.

Cheers Gambo...thought it look no better than hills. No point opening an account with them.

Think few others going to be miffed when realise how poor betfreds prices now are Sad
