The fast forcus
#41
I'm finding quite a few hitting game over on the first board even after a board cost of say £10-£15 to see where it is. Not just the odd one, lots of units. Given how much they can save value even after a force I don't consider myself that unlucky that I'm following on from an absolute rapage from previous player every time. Maybe somebody is but plugging (insert 's' where required) around me.

On another note, one busy city pub which is checked often had a dead Toast, went over to the Baablacksheeparians and it was redding from the off, hit the top for flat after £12. These days, how the fuck does it get that happy that somebody walked after at least an £80-£100 caning? Rare as.

I can't be arsed with the Swing My Axe here anymore, it just gets forced all the time so unless you get the 150 it's a loss or money back, to start with it would sometimes cave early for a flat but can't remember the last time it did it now.

Last time was exactly 100 in for a flat, what's the point?

They're also capable of showing 'good signs' when they're quite a way off, so for example I used to be able to read Jailbreak on £70 pretty well, but the Axe is a whole different kettle of kippers.

So boring, so futile. I get a lot more fun out of the emulator, I don't play fruities for money, so have largely just fucked them off now as they're no fun.

My fun these days is having a semi-regular punt on a Club Cops n Robbers which is set to 25p spin. I remember when I was a teenager how I thought this machine was the dogs bollocks in the local club and getting 3 bells for a tenner was an absolute buzz.
With the experience of age and obviously a little more disposable income to hand now, I still enjoy the game but can see it for what it really is - a feature with a cap of around £8-10 in normal play if you're lucky and the odd rogue £40 Crime Wave/Hold Up/Great Train Robbery now and again. I'm still waiting for the 4 OAK nudge in / cashpots landing close state for a full on forcus.

Well not a disaster but things didn't quite go to plan.

First machine - I start with coins and soon realize this one only takes OLD pound coins. On to notes then discover the notey is not working. Well I'm a few quid in now and the board I had did open the game. So use the next door machine as a note to coin changer. Anyway 13 in I get a board - first offer 12 so I take it.

Next machine - won't take any coins just jams - hit the reject a couple of times and to my delight I get my pound coin back plus another pound coin plus a 50p. Still not working - again hit the reject a couple of times and to my delight I get my pound coin back plus a 50p. Still not working but this times coin just going through. About to give up and try one more time - it's started to work.

Anyway this is a Pug's Life and reminds me much of MIB which has always stung me - this seems to be heading the same way but does go in for 150 after 155 in - so a minor loss.

For info I was counting the red boards on this - white, white, red, red, red, red, red, white, red (alternates white, red more times), red, red, red (goes in).

If it ever does white of the exchange it's not ready! You can forget the previous few times it went red that was meaningless! You're not counting icons trails board entry's I take it either!!!!!!

They must be making a silly amount of money betcom machines at the moment, until people get bored of getting stung forcing one that has just done a 150 etc, and losing a shit load.....

The Cash Explosion was strange, almost as if it decided it wanted to go in (also offered super streak and £15 red repeat!) then not and almost reset its state.

My worst ever one was £300 in the porn shop servos at South Mimms! Can't remember which Betcom that was Monster Money or similar maybe can sort of see how it could cost that much in that sort of era though!

Go to literally any centre these days and I guarantee you'll find a time least 10 Betcoms within your first few pubs!

Yes but at the point it had done 5 reds on the trot you may have been forgiven for thinking it was about to go - then you get the white so know it's not there.

Also this never shot more than £10 on the cash shots - and yes I binned off boards.

I'm really trying not to play them. You're looking at risking up to £200 for a potential flat. Likely to only get a small raise at best.

I've had 4 £150's in a row today
JJ cost £80
Corn of the dead cost £90
Twist cost £135
Cash exploder cost £120

Just to point out for balance. Had they all been flat I'd have been down not over £150 up.

A few things to note. I've never had it say red off the exchange more than 4 times in a row, and then go white. You do not count the pie trail etc. Only counts off the fruit exchange. Cash shots mean nothing either. Never hit over £10 on cash shot on the JJ or Corn. I only play the fruit exchange boards that are red and kill off pie entry. If it's white on the exchange like ob says it's not ready. I just gamble that to lose all the time till it does red. It can go in off the first red. I'm sure you all know all this, but just to clarify for any that don't.

Yeah have to say pretty sure I've never had one go back white after 4 reds. Unless like you say people are counting pie entry reds.

I've also never had a ridiculously cheap force either. Think 50 odd is the cheapest I've had 1 go in.

Agree with the shots not really giving a tell. I've had em not shoot more than 4 quid for the 1st 30 odd quid and still profit. I've also had em flying super deal red 7.50 high cash meters 1st board and lost.

I had about 8 reds in a row on a jubbling jackpots go back to white and then take £60 to red up again once.

Must have been red at the off then ?  8 board gamble entries normally sets you back probably on average £10 a board minimum once you've taken the pie entry boards into account that get forced on you. There's usually a good £30 patch refusing to give a gamble board entry too on most forcuses.

The usual pattern for me is either non or the odd 1 red for the 1st £50 then I get a 2 board red tease but then usually it disappears again for £40 + then either goes in the 1st red board after or stitches me with the trail entry for a bit before giving in. Certainly a 4th red board in a row I'd be expecting it to go in.

Lol. I'm not bigging them up, although it certainly comes across like that, I realise that
Just saying what I've had recently. They can be a disgrace, I suppose more so if they're always getting done. Which part is a lie by the way?

I've had Twists cost £180+ and go flat
I've had others do the same , so I'm certainly not praising them.

However your entitled to post what you want so no issues here
