Yeah I've been proper bad lately, I stayed off the online for 66 consecutive days but there was a day about 6 weeks ago I tilted on the fruits and ended up losing over a grand afterwards in an arcade, then a further 200 online and ever since then I've been gambling online almost daily Sad

I think for almost everyone that the "addiction" is always lurking somewhere waiting to come back again as strong as ever?

I have tried to quit several platforms of gambling that I knew were costing me far too much, fobts roulette, arcade random 500s, online slots etc for up to a year.

Eventually the brain "conveniently forgets" and you think you'll do that deposit bonus the casino sends you, and you'll only do a £30.
Then you either don't get a feature or you get a few good wins so you try it again a few days later.

Before you know it you are right back where you were before you "quit" and wondering why you are so fucking stupid!

Yes indeed, and you always say oh once I've had a hit this big then I'll quit, but I know for a fact if I ever was to get a 10k+ hit I definitely wouldn't be quitting! My area's god awful for fruits at the moment too, so i've let the boredom take over a bit I guess.
Instead of punting the god awful shit they've got around here for a potential 30 raise or 100+ loss (happening more and more) i'd rather have a go online.
It is bad though as it's almost like a separate addiction as with arcades and bookies you've physically gotta walk/drive there, leave the house, physically put the money in the machines but online there's none of that it's just click and off you go. I have got deposit limits set up at the sites I do play at but how stupid is this, all you have to do to remove them is just click remove and wait 24 hours!? What kind of preventative measure is that, honestly!

It does help though! In the past I have been desperate to deposit beyond my limits chasing a half decent feature!
Normally ended up timing out for the max 6 weeks rather than up the limit and wait 24 hours, coz by then my brain has stopped racing and has exited degenerate mode!
Do agree though, it should take more than 24 hrs to change limits.

Best way to quit would prob be win the euromillions and live on the yacht in the caribbean with half a dozen hotties!
Having said that prob end up getting off your head and depositing 20 mil at 500 a spin on some high roller slot, eventually getting a 20 x bonus then taking a fucking week to to get through their verification process!

Video slots makes you wait a week to change deposit limits, i think video slots is about the out there atm.

This pretty much exactly sums me up. Although if I got a 10k hit that might be tempting enough to make me quit for good, as I kind of feel like im due a big win/chasing a big win (even though its random blah blah), and 10k would go along way atm, and would be happy to end on that high note.

My record is now 3.2k off high voltage on 2 quid, but that was split with a mate, so techically not my biggest win based on my share.

My biggest cashout is 1.1k and my biggest single hit is 900 quid on a 50p spin (1800x)

Having said that a friend and I went halfs on a deposit a year ago and we got upto a 5 grand bank but we had wagering, and just as the wagering was looking doable everything just went stone. We had 5 grand with 7.5k wagering and ended up having £350 left in the balance when the wagering was done. Everything just went brutal, never seen anything like it!

Pretty sure it was g'day, I'm sure it was a legitimate place, we just got unthinkably unlucky

Thats sick. Id expect atleast 1k after all that, and that really is the minimum.

Yeah, it really was a mental session. Had £800 hits on fruit warp and wish master at £2 spins and shit loads more, and a 2 grand bonus on victorious at a fiver, retriggered about 7 times haha, was such a shame to leave with so little at the end of it. We almost tilted the 350 on roulette but thought we've been up all night atleast need something to show for it!

All those slots are absolute fucking filth!

I have just played the streamers' cashpoint games - BGT for 7 hours, mainly on £1 stake and have done £900 without a win over £100.

Self excluded all my sites so it should be the last time at least, can't wait for that feeling of waking up and remembering, then having the loss linger as no doubt I won't be able to win a coin anywhere!

My own fault for thinking I'd have a cheeky punt on a pure pots 255, 500, 130 - just a standard 570 to get pots, "luckily" for silver.

Close to £2k down in 2018 so far....

Yeah online's pretty ill ain't it haha, oh yeah look at these streamers first press 4 grand yeah yeah yeah, then take the average punter (me for example) 6 scatters pink elephants, 150x, 5 scatter creature, 90x, 4 wild spread on rhino, 200x

granted these occurrences have gotta be like 1 in 10,000 chance absolute minimum!!

Best to stick to small deposits like £20-£30 and try and build it up, that way if you lose you're not tilted but if you win you're onto a nice session, that's my tactic anyway

I only play online like once a week now anyway, fruits are better

That's harsh mate, my year started badly doing a cool half grand through a bogus £200 black knight but a slap across the face and a shitload of machines later i'm looking alright...

I don't get why Streamers keep going back to the Lagoon, I don't think I've ever seen any of them get the full 9 targets. At least Onion head gives all 9 keys even if it still does fuck all most the time.

I actually did hit all 9 targets once, then proceeded to watch as not a single wild landed!

Yeah I have had the extra spins as well, know I got virtually fuck all after chasing the end for ages!

Can also remember, a long time ago, doing £250 in deposits on 40p without a feature on it, felt a right mug Sad

At least after my loss last night I have completely cleaned my whole flat today, even the fridge!

Also written down some rules for 2018, if I stick to them the £900 loss should average out at less than £20 a week - good in theory I suppose?!
