Have the bookies ditched Reel King?
#1
I'm blind as a bat so may be looking in the wrong menus.  It's just that I can't seem to see Reel King (of any sort) any more.  That's both Bet Fred and Laddies.  My Coral's branch has been taken over by Mega Bet which I've not heard of before and Reel King isn't in there either.  Can anyone confirm?

couple of months ago it when from freds shops, lots of other games went at the same time.

not entirely sure but its when a lot of the rtp%s dropped at the same time, some games are 89% on £1stake now.

my guess was that reelking was not supported when it came to lowering rtp%

B3 games are now better off played in a decent arcade/bingo hall, 94% is the best generally.

Also think % should be displayed a legal requirement next to the stake being played at the time, not hidden in the help/info

Used to be one of those games where you could win a decent amount on 25p stake. Then they brought in a shitty version of it - name escapes me - where it could 'yellow up' and just give you £1.60 or something as opposed to 20 or 30 quid!

yup it worked well as a slot. 25p/5lines 50p/10lines £1/20lines... scrolls having the same value.

couple of months back I played casino version, reelking potty, the profile didn't seem all that bad, but £5er stake really made the spells with out dings painful.

Back to B3s, dont see the bookies doing themselves much favors removing games that actually didnt seem that unpopular and reduce the %

If thats the current solution, what would they do if more restrictive regulation occurs.

Thanks guys, especially Russthebus.

I guess Reel King is now limited to arcades and those I-Pub machines?

Are the bookies reducing the percentage due to greed or is it because of increased gambling taxes?

Probably both lol, rip people off as much as they can
"The machines are not there for you, now give us loads of money and not get much entertainment for it"
Boy I miss the old days when you had a decent chance of winning something half good, enough of forcusing Betcoms for a loss or a titchy profit if you're lucky! Ughhhhhh

Christ almighty, sub 90% payouts on £500s, thought that sort of shit was reserved for the Servos... Glad I gave up the FOBTs a couple of years ago.

Will have a couple silly 10er spins on 100/1 roullette (cover first column in 25p chips randomly), it's walking away money if you hit it, if not walk away.
89% is sickeningly poor, local cashino has stuff on 90% at 50p stake lol although it's all b3 and lo tech Sad
