Betcom "Thats Your Lot" Diary
#1
The aim of this diary is to get to 10 consecutive "That's Your Lot" and lose as much money as possible.  It's probably not going to be that difficult, so once this challenge is complete I'll up the ante and go back to the bank.

I'm going to have to start this midway into a sequence, as the current state of play is 6 consecutive no repeats.

To date:

Ghostbusters. £130.
Pie Factory.  £130.
Juggling Tosspots.  £170, re-rack, £130, re-rack, £110.  Give up.
Pirates of Penzance.  £120.

Question. Does a re-rack count, or should I be aiming for 10 different sessions?

Thanks to Betcom for inspiring this challenge, your innovation continues to amaze and entertain.  I just don't know how you keep coming up with the goods!

Could you not tell us how much in you were in each case if you lost money?

I think he did.

It looks like the SWING MY AXE down my local is getting forcused all the time, had this report from a mate earlier in the week....

Quote:200 in 100 out ha
Swing axe that was ha

Thing is, who the fuck else but forcusers would play the bloody things when they can easily cost £20+ for a board, and keep dicking you about on that dire snakes and ladders entry board affair? (And knocking themselves back at their leisure using the pay off square, which can be completely unavoidable.)

I'd already noticed myself that the decent signs that used to apply to this 'style' of machine back in the £70 era no longer mean a thing, for example opening the game or a £10 shot early doors generally meant you were laughing, but on £100 they appear to be able to do pretty much what they want - there are no good signs in particular that I can see.

(Crown Jewels/Shoot For The Stars just needed to be offering a £5 shot and you'd go for it and almost always end up in profit.)

Always good signs. 12 in for 15 cash shot.30 in for mega deal (treasure island wankpots) . 151 for 150. 8 more in for 26 deal. This was after 3 lads going 3 ways on gay stake who lost at least 50quid, in one of the few semi tucked/and busy places i would normally bother with.
A not so tucked but generally quite profitable local unit the other day, 110 in for 150. Bar staff comes over after a local grassed (or said something to that effect)me during a invince board, a local who would previously play casually.. "Ah fuck me, wtf, it went over a ton!", with a disbelief look on my face, is what i told the nosey cunt staff member who ran over.. Bar staff "shit, that guy over there had 150 out of this just last week" while pointing at the local guy who up until 6 weeks ago used to play casually on it.
Always good signs that ultimately is telling you to not bother wasting 30 mins on them now.

Till 5 months ago had a cyc so tucked that it never lost. 10-25  deals liked a slow down repeat which was not uncommon during an "after board" Never seen anywhere b4, or since, where anywher loved a slow down repeat. It was a pub that u could walk into and find it flashing double deal available next board though .
As to these days... Well done timmy and hypa...

GNASHER7 I swear works for the Betcom promotions department as all his posts reckon these do 150 nearly all the time and even when they don't they go in off beer change lol

Although that may have been true at one time I have to assumed there's sarcasm in that statement.

The unit near me which I've played loads of times has never done a 150 and out of all the other units I've played only one ever did a 150 that I can remember.

Having said all that I've had more (any Betcom not just CE/CYC) do 150 recently.

My diary will be starting soon, 2 days without touching a forcus, starting to feel a bit less stressed and happier for it!

That was the 7th consecutive flat. the first 6 were in the original post.

My attempt for the 8th has failed though. Just £80 into a Juggling Pirates for a £150.

Since that, one flat, two £150s. The second of which cost £210! Cheers Dog Life, seems they find a way to take £60 off me one way or another!

So I'm back to square one with this challenge.
