He is totally deluded if he thinks he is going to get a 6 figure win one day!  Those sort of jackpots go to Mavis on 2p spins not £20k spins anyway!

The thing I don't understand with random games is you're always going to lose in the end, as your payback, ultimately, is going to be what you started with less the house edge - so unless you're trying to hit one big 'take the money and run' style win, you may as well just set fire to 3% or 4% of your money every week.

I mean, I played online slots quite extensively for a period of time, but that was when there were still interesting bonuses to be played where you could try and tip things in your favour and I had some decent results, but now your starter for ten on wagering requirements seems to be 35xB which is massively EV- so why even bother trying?

So then you think well why not play bonus free? And of course the answer to that is you will inevitably lose over time, it doesn't matter what the game is, be it roulette or poker or slots or whatever, you're going to lose to the house edge over time - guaranteed. (Assuming the games are fair and random, the casino will get its profit at the expense of its players.)

That's what's uniquely different about AWPs of course, because despite their shitty percentages they are compensated and will as such respond to what the player does or doesn't do, which is why I still find them interesting.

Doubtless it's quite exciting to be betting £3000 per spin as that chap is there on roulette, but all I'd be thinking is that given enough time and a large enough spin sample, each of those £3000 spins will cost me £81*, as a mathematical certainty, and what's the fucking point in that?

* The 2.7% house edge on European roulette.

He can afford it as he won most of it any way, he can't afford to keep doing it but when your betting like that it's only a matter of time till you hit reality again and he usually just starts with X and if he wins X then the big bets come out.
Take me back to the paradice city where the drinks are free and the slots are pretty, oh wont you please take me home...yeaaaahhh

His reaction at the end says it all! That certainly hit him straight in the bollocks but he's playing with winnings at least. He's not the only person in the U.K To be doing this online on an evening but 99% of these people will be ashamed to tell anyone. At least hes open about it to the world!

He's probably gone way too far here and he'll know it! He's seems like a nice bloke so I hope this shit doesn't end him eventually

What I will say is he needs to get himself to Vegas if he's doing bets like that least he'd get something back they'd treat him like a god over there

Wouldn't want to be him trying to get some sleep and then the feeling in the morning after! Bad enough when you lose a couple of grand I know that much from experience!

he's prob 10-20k up over the last 6 weeks - "was feeling invincible because hadn't lost for ages!"

those losses you can write off in your head as "oh well i only deposited 250 and spent 2 hours on that roller coaster!"

more of a "you greedy fucking idiot" as opposed to "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRGH i worked 6 months for that!!!"

He seems like a likable fella but there is only one way this is going to end.  He has admitted he doesn't earn bundles and has been pretty fortunate to luck out on his last spins a few times but that luck doesn't last.  How many videos do we see from cheikthetoastie lucking out these days?  None.

He's quite high up in a London bank, but £9000 spins are crazy no matter what you earn

Say he's on £100k a year even, that's around £70k after tax, so betting 6 weeks wages a spin ?
