So what does my emulation of club attraction play, I'm sure it's a jumbled up mess due to emulator same as its little brother cash attraction.

It just doesn't do the sounds. You can just about make it out but compare the video to your emulation and you'll know what I mean - it's difficult to explain.

Cheers dude

Sometimes these issues can be resolved by altering throttle. I had an issue with an earlier version of mfme whereby samples were not played fully as the game itself was running too quickly.

The sounds from early techs in mfme will sound shit in any os higher than xp, yhe synth sounds there by dont play righ in windows vista 7 8 or 10. You will notice that sometimes a sample will play wholly or will miss certain parts of it. Reel stops are a good indicator of this. Only way around this is to use windows xp.

Do you keep a tally? How many thousands did you make in 2017?

It's got to be soul destroying forcing betclones for an average £20 profit all day every day, and occasionally finding a playable.

Yes mate. I had 2 sessions and to be completely honest it calmed
Me down, I was in full control.  Only playing a tucked Batman once a
Week and a live the dream at my work, making about £200 a week, which was £800 a month on top of my wage.
However the urge started to come back and before I knew it I was back in the bookies, back in arcades, my Batman had fucked off. Live the dream tightened up big time and I’m back in shitloads of debt. I was told I’d need 4 sessions of hypno and only
HAd 2 so I wish I’d stuck at it. Only £40 a session, that’s less than a session with a shitcom that doesn’t CB.t

I sit here after another day like most where yet again I have lost money. My earliest memory's are my father taking me to the seaside to play on the amusements every other weekend (my parents had split) and this must be where it started. Playing the tupny shiver and fruit machines even though I was around ten years old. From there I still remember going to a caravan park with my mum for my birthday and finding myself losing all my birthday money and even resorting to chucking my new wallet in the bin and telling my mum I had lost the wallet with the money in so not to admit what I had done. Living by the coast I had access to large numbers of fruit machines and remember spending my childhood there on my own for hours and even introducing my younger brother to the fun of the flashing lights. Stealing money at the age of 12-14 to play the machines still embarrassed me but what do you know at that age. As I got older and left school pubs came into play. I remember countless nights out with my mates on £25 jackpot machines with my friends getting pissed off at me and moving onto the next pub without me as I seemed hypnotised by the gamble and either caught up with them if I won or walked home if I lost missing out on a night out. Then I got my first proper job, getting the train to London each day I would do a hard days work and then get the train back. The amount of trains I missed must be in the hundreds as I was to busy playing the machine at the platform sometimes arriving home 3 hours late. Big losses ended up in me not having the money for the train and ending up sitting in the toilet for the hour and a half journey praying the conductor didn't force the door. Countless similar stories have followed with a lot of friendships and relationships finishing due to me always disappearing and never having any money. Missed weekends away and holidays as I kept losing my spending money leaving me sitting at home feeling sorry for myself. Then came FOBT's and the cheque cashing and payday loans as my credit rating was now shot. Yes there were good times with 2-3k winning days quite regular but these never outweighed the losses. Time and time again I would build up a big bank roll only to lose it in one go and then more. That has been the story for the last ten ish years with more time spent gambling then anything else. I have always had good jobs but so far have lost each one due to me disappearing for an afternoon as the desire pulled me away from my desk to waste all my money once again. I am now married, have a mortgage and a good paid job but that is not enough. Still on a monthly basis I will waste at least a grand gambling only for the desire to carry on just as strong. Scratch cards, poker, casinos, fruit machines, bookies, football, horses the list goes on. Why have I sat here and typed all this, maybe because reading the posts on this site I hope some of you can sympathise with me. Not that I blame anyone or want any advise I just want to say I AM TIRED. Tired of wasting all my fucking life gambling. no one I know is in the same situation and no one who now knows me knows what I get up to and unfortunately I don't think they would understand.

Honesty mate you are definitely not alone.
I thought you’d written that post on behalf of myself. Very very similar stories mate.  It’s an illness that absolutely no non-gambler will ever understand.  I’ve never smoked or being heavily into drugs but by god this has consumed my life for the last 16+ years.  I paid people for methods just so I’d stop doing my brains on machines that are playable.  But it all leads to the same thing, that unshakable urge to have a punt. The truth is it’s so hard to leave at a loss.  Sometimes the feeling of leaving exactly even after a gambling session makes you feel happy. Normally when you’ve been up a couple
Of hundred, then down a thousand and manage to claw your way back to even money. It’s fucked up it really is and I wish I didn’t have such an active brain that constantly tries to think of ways to make
Money.  It just so happens that gambling has done nothing but ruin my state of mind, but has ruined my youth.

I wonder what % of people genuinely enjoys and is satisfied with what they do for a living? I guess it is a similar % of players. What is soul destroying/ boring/ unsatisfying to one will not be to another, based on several factors, as in "the real world"!

I may try the hypnosis then when i decide enough is enough then, thought it could prove useful but prob cannot gamble on only some things, prob has to be all or nothing, like most gambling quitting involves.

I guess it can be a bit harder if you can/ have been able to win at certain forms of gambling, such as fruit machines.

If you've ever won, you'll associate that type of gambling with winning and keep doing it. If you lost at your initial attempt it's unlikely to attract you.

I lost a fair amount in my first attempt at spread betting on John Higgins who was supposedly invincible at the time. Hence I don't ever bet more than a couple of quid. But 35 plus years playing fruit machines and having had several emptiers means I 100% associate them with winning which makes it so hard to stop.

I can and have stopped playing for months at a time, only to return after hearing/ seeing someone winning in a pub.

Whilst I'm up, or at least only down a couple of hundred over the course of a month, I consider it a hobby. If I lost regularly or heavily I'd probably make a more concerted effort to pack it in.

Fortunately online and faultys don't appeal, because that seems to be the short road to the poor house.

I definitely agree with that last line!

Yesterday i put £140 in coin and then on the 5th tenner, a Jackpot Jaws reset itself and errored 3897 CCT N COMM.
It obviously didn't resolve itself. It had been redding for about £60, literally the next exchange must be about 99% to flash.
I was told I would be called when engineer been out (luckily only 5 mins from my house) and machine turned off til I got there.
The pub opened at 12. I rang the pub 7 times up til 2 with no reply!
Just gone in there the machine was back on but the note changer was off, I asked if the engineer disabled it and why I didn't get called etc and was told he didn't have my number.
Put about £30 in the piece of shit for a £12 deal plus £10, obv wasn't redding, pretty livid to be honest.

Boulder, have you got that hypnotist's number?!!!!

Bet one of the regs from last night or the bar guy had £150 for a fiver Sad

Yeah not saying there cant be people out there making a living off fruit machines, bound to be many cheats i dont even wanna know but surely yer gonna get barred pretty quickly if your constantly making large sums outa anything these days. When you add drink money petrol and whatever else i just dont see how thousands are possible.

£30 a day is £10k, you don't think thousands is possible? Reading some of mr x's posts I reckon he makes thousands off mainly £5 jackies!
